Working in partnership with BRITA Professional, First Choice Group Training, formerly Combico UK, has developed a training course which covers the selection, installation and maintenance of BRITA's wide range of water treatment filters for use with commercial foodservice equipment. Utilising the full range of BRITA water treatment filters for beverage, steam cooking and dishwashing applications, the BRITA Water Treatment training includes a mix of both theoretical classroom learning alongside practical demonstrations. A lot of UK water contains impurities which can spoil taste, smell, appearance and overall quality of drinks. Appliances which heat water can cause a build-up of scale. This can have a significant impact on running costs and the inconvenience of increased maintenance and downtime. The long-term solution to this issue is using an efficient water filter system and employing timely filter exchanges to keep the system at optimum efficiency.
