First Choice Group are the UK’s leading provider of genuine OEM catering spare parts, accessories and consumables from leading manufacturers across the industry. As a group, we provide parts solutions for commercial catering, refrigeration, laundry and bakery equipment as well as engineer technical training at our on-site First Choice Training division.

Celebrating 20 Years

In 2019 we were thrilled to celebrate our 20-year anniversary with employees, manufacturers and customers. We marked the milestone with a specially organised ‘Future First’ Conference at our Kingswood Lakeside HQ, welcoming our partners and professionals from across the industry.

The day focused on upcoming innovations at First Choice and within the industry, as well as celebrating the continually growing relationships we hold with our customers and suppliers. We also hosted an awards ceremony and served up plenty of cake!

Our History

First Choice Group began life as First Choice Catering Spares in 1999 and would go on to become the UK’s leading supplier of OEM catering equipment spares.

What sets us apart is the level and range of our knowledge and the experience of the industry and its people. In our opening year, we worked tirelessly to secure our first 50 customers – the first of many milestones we would reach over the years to come.

In 2007 we signed our very first Master Distribution Agreement (MDA) with MKN and acquired our 1000th customer account.

By the time we reached our 10th anniversary in 2009, we were continuing to introduce revolutionary systems to improve the service for our customers, including our lean-lift system which transformed the way our distribution hub operated.

First Choice Refrigeration, Laundry and Bakery Spares launched in 2013 to cater to a wider range of customer needs and were joined in 2014 by technical training company, Combico UK, which went on to become First Choice Group Training after being acquired by the group.

In 2015, in order to represent the wider offering now available, the company became First Choice Group, bringing all of the companies, including First Choice Catering Spares, under a unified banner.

Just two years later in 2017, First Choice Group moved to a new purpose-built 100,000sqft home at Kingswood Lakeside, Cannock. That same year, we were acquired by PT Holdings LLC, the parent company of Parts Town. This move has since enabled us to catapult our offering even further, allowing us to share knowledge and resource with the team in the US, whilst also giving us further access to numerous American equipment brands.
